Like so many other professionals I am back on the school bench, part-time.
Here in March I joined the first of four academic seminars in Journalism. It is a diploma course which goes further than the photo-journalistic education I got at the Danish School of Journalism. It is aimed at people already holding an academic degree and wants to work as journalists.
The course will end with examen in October after 4 weekend seminars and more than 550 hours of homework and studies.
It became obvious that being able to make photos with extended captions is no longer enough in todays media industry. My ambitions was also pointing towards being able to do more than pictures after working with multimedia.
I hope my clients will benefit from this course.
